I want to backup my Internet Explorer bookmarks/favorites and settings
Environment
Windows
Internet Explorer
Resolution
Open Internet Explorer
Click the star in the top right corner
Click the downward arrow next to the Add to Favorites button
Click Import and Export
Click Export to a file and click next
Select which items you would like to backup, if you are unsure select all
Select your favorites folder
Select a location where you would like to save your backup file. It is recommended that you save the file to your personal drive or a USB stick in an easy to find location.
Depending on what you selected in step 6 you will be prompted to save up to three files, it is recommended that you save these all in the same location so they can easily be found later
