Instructions on how to invite people to a team with a code.

Environment

• Teams

Additional Details

 Note: Only Macomb staff or students can join via a Teams Code, no guests.

Resolution

• Open Teams, Go to the Team you want to invite people to. 
• Select the 3 dots (ellipsis).

• Select Manage Team.

• Select Settings from the top menu.

• Expand the Team code header by clicking the arrow next to it. 
• Select Generate.

• A code will be generated that you can give out to other staff or students. Click Copy to copy to your clipboard. 

Share the code with your invitees however you choose—send the code to a single person via chat or write it on a whiteboard for a whole room full of people.
