Install SPSS on a Personal Machine

How do I install SPSS on my personal machine?

Environment

• Windows or MacOS.

Resolution

Process for installation:

• Login to your MyMacomb account.
• Click one of the following URL's to open the download page for the appropriate version:
  • Download For Windows
  • Download For MacOS
• Click the download button on the upper left side of the page. 
• Unzip the file and install SPSS.
• Enter the Authorization code.  Here is the process: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/how-add-authorization-code-ibm-spss-statistics-through-license-authorization-wizard
• MacOS students may run into a license authorization issue and will need the information here to resolve it: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/getting-warning-message-you-do-not-have-correct-administrator-privileges-when-attempting-license-spss-statistics-product-mac-os
• SPSS should be ready for use.

 Note: If they already have the currently used IBM SPSS version installed, they just need to run the process in bullet 5 to update their authorization code.
