How do I install Catia?

Environment

• Catia for Windows

Resolution

• Login to MyMacomb.
• Download Catia Student Installer for Windows
• Unzip the file and install Catia. Installation instructions/help can be found by referencing the PDF attached to this article.
• Not necessary, but if desired, you can download the student documentation: Catia Student Documentation
  • Unzip the file and install Catia Student Documentation.
• Download the Catia authentication file attached to the Catia Student Version Installation email you received from your instructor. Its named: D6032-HJXWA-ZWGJ4-8LTH5-6ZQJ0_0000_1.LIC
• Download the Managed License Server reference file attached to the Catia Student Version Installation email you received. Its named: DSLicSrv.txt
• After installing Catia Student Edition and the Student documentation (if desired): Open Windows File Explorer and enter this in the address bar: C:\ProgramData\DassaultSystemes
• Create a new folder here named, Licenses.
• Move the following two downloaded files into the Licenses folder you created:
  • D6032-HJXWA-ZWGJ4-8LTH5-6ZQJ0_0000_1.LIC
  • DSLicSrv.txt
• Launch Catia. It will give you a configuration warning. Click OK on this warning:

• Click on the available configuration or product boxes available. Restart session to take settings into account. This process will only need to be done during the first launch.

• Begin using Catia.
