Trust Relationship Error Received When Accessing my Macomb Community College Issued Computer

Issue/Question

When attempting to log in to my Macomb Community College issued device that is connected to the domain (mcc.local), my computer shows a message stating there is a trust relationship issue between my computer and the domain. The two specific error messages I received are "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed" or  "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship"

Resolution

  • Send an email to servicedesk@macomb.edu and include the following information:
    • Location of your computer, including campus, building, and room number.
    • The computer's system number (Also known as S#).
    • The error message you received.
    • Two dates and times you will be available for a technician to service your machine.
