Issue/Question
I want to locate the IP and MAC address of my computer
Environment
- MCC Owned Computer
- Windows
Resolution
- Click on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of your screen to open the start menu
- Type cmd in the search box
- Type ipconfig /all in the cmd window
Note: If you are using a wired connection, look under the Ethernet adapter field. If you are using a wireless connection, look under the wireless adapter field
- The MAC address is shown to the right in the physical address field
- The IP address is shown to the right in the IPv4 address field
