How do I install Microsoft Office 365 Suite?
Environment
Resolution
- Open a web browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, etc.) and navigate to www.office.com.
- When presented with the Microsoft 365 Copilot app home page, click the Sign in button located at the middle of the web page or the top right corner.

- When prompted to sign in, enter your Macomb Community College email address and click the Next button.
- Next, when prompted to enter your password, enter the password associated with your Macomb Community College account.
- Then, when prompted to verify your identity using the multi-factor authentication method shown, follow the prompt to complete your identity verification.
- Once signed in and presented with the Copilot Chat, click the Apps tab on the left side-panel.

- In the Apps tab, click the Install apps drop-down button in the top right of the web page.

- From the drop-down, click the Microsoft 365 apps (Install Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more.) option.

- On the My account web page, click the Apps & devices tab from the left side-panel.

- Next, click the Install Office button within the Office category box.

- Then, in the top left of the web browser, the browser's Downloads pop-up will appear with the Office 365 executable file. Click the file in the pop-up to begin the installation.

- A window will appear with a progress bar of the Office installation. Please wait for the process to finish.

- Once the Office 365 Suite has finished installing, a window will appear stating its completion.
