How can I automatically delete emails older than one year?
Environment
Resolution
- Open Outlook.
- Right-click on the folder you wish to archive.
- Select Properties

- Select the AutoArchive tab.

- Click the radio button next to Archive this folder using these settings.
- Change Clean out items older than to 12 months
- Click the radio button next to Permanently delete old items
- Click Apply
- Click OK

Note: This process can be done on any folder in the mailbox just by right-clicking on the folder that needs to have the auto-archiving feature turned on.
