I'm Having Trouble Logging into Splashtop

Issue/Question

It says I got invited to Splashtop but I cannot log in. 

Environment

  • Splashtop

Resolution

  • Open Splashtop.com website.
  • Click Log in from the top right corner.

  • Select Single Sign-On login from the bottom right. 

  • Enter your Macomb email address.
  • Click Single Sign On.

  • You will get a message that you need to authenticate your device. You will need to go to your Macomb email and click on the authentication link.

After you authenticate your device. You will need to install the Splashtop software. You can do this from the initial email you received or from inside your account.

  • Click on the link Splashtop Business App. 

  • Chose the correct platform.

  • Log into your account.
  • On the right-hand side click your email address.
  • Click on Quick Set up Guide.

  • Click on the Business App button.

  • Once installed, launch the Splashtop Business app.
  • Log into it by clicking on the Single Sign-On login link.  

  • A browser window will then open prompting you to sign into your Macomb.edu account if you have not already signed into my.macomb.edu.

  • When trying to login, you should see a message to authenticate your login, AUTHENTICATION REQUIRED. This is to ensure the security of your account. You'll receive an email with an authentication link. Opening this link authenticates your computer and lets you login to the Splashtop Business application.

  • After the authentication, log in to the Business app with your credentials and you will be able to launch a remote session from that device.
