Using a Temporary Access Pass (Temporary Password)

How do I use a temporary password that was given to me?

Environment

• Macomb Network

Resolution

• Once you are given a temporary password go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info or https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo. 
• Enter your username.

• Select Use your Temporary Access Pass instead.

• Enter the temporary password in the Temporary Access Pass field. 

• Click No. 

• Set up MFA and SSPR authentication methods, if needed. Please see the knowledge base articles for instructions on how to set those up.
