Why Doesn’t Copilot Appear in my Office 365 Menu Ribbon?

Why doesn't the CoPilot chat button show up in the Office 365 apps (Word, Excel, or PowerPoint) like it does Outlook?

Environment

  • Office 365

Resolution

The Microsoft Copilot Chat included with Office 365 for Macomb students and employees does not automatically enable the in-app Copilot button in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint (but it does in Outlook). This feature will be enabled at a later date.
