How do I locate faculty availability?

Note: If you are a recently hired Adjunct Faculty member, the Adjunct Faculty Availability submission portal in Self-Service may display blank drop-down menus.


Currently, only Adjunct Faculty on the Adjunct Faculty Roster can utilize the Self-Service availability submission portal. To be placed on the Adjunct Faculty Roster, you must meet two criteria:

1) You need to be assigned at least one course to teach.
2) You will need to have at least one stipend payment in the system for a course taught.

If you do not meet BOTH criteria, you will need to submit your availability directly to your Associate Dean. Most new Adjunct Faculty will be able to submit their availability through the Self-Service portal the term immediately after they first begin teaching. You will then see term information in the term drop-down menu.

Resolution

Faculty Availability is on Self-Service.  Adjunct Faculty will receive an email confirmation of their submitted availability and also be able to view their current and future choices even after the submission deadline has passed. 

How to Locate Faculty Availability: 

  • Navigate to MyMacomb.
  • From the left menu, select Self-Service.

  • Select the hamburger menu button in the top left of the home page.
  • Select Daily Work.
  • Select Faculty.
  • Select My Availability.

  • Select the term you are trying to give availability for. 
  • Select Next.
