Not Enough Memory Error in Microsoft Applications

Issue/Question

I'm receiving an error saying I do not have the memory to open a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint document. See below for the error.

Environment

• Microsoft Office Products

Resolution

• Open Excel, Word or PowerPoint.
• Click the file tab on the menu.

• Select Options from the bottom left side. 

• Select Trust Center in the Excel Options.

• Select Trust Center Settings.

• Select Trusted Locations.
• Select Add new location.

• Select Browse.

• Select Downloads on the left side.
• Click OK.

• Click Subfolders of this location are also trusted to put a check in the box.
• Select OK.

• Click OK on the Trust Center menu.

• Click OK on Excel Options menu.
