How do I change my password via my Microsoft Account (Macomb Community College Account)?

Note: This process will only work if you know your current password and it hasn't expired. If you don't know your password or it has expired, please visit my.macomb.edu and click the 'Forgot password' link beneath the sign in button to change the password.
Resolution
- Navigate to your Microsoft My Account page.
- If prompted, enter your Macomb Community College email address and click the Next button.
- If prompted, enter your password and click the Sign in button.
- Authenticate your login via the chosen Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) method.
Note: The authentication method prompted to you may be different based on the default sign in method you selected for you MFA method. If the prompted method is different, please follow the prompt provided to complete the authentication process.
- When prompted to stay signed in, click the NO button.
- After clicking the NO button, you will be redirected to your My Account page.
- In the My Account page, click the CHANGE PASSWORD link within the Password category.
- Next, you will be presented with three text boxes: Old password, Create new password, Confirm new password.
- In the Old password field, enter your current Macomb Community College account password.
- In the Create new password and Confirm new password fields, enter your new password for your Macomb Communicty College account.
- When finished, click the Submit button to complete the password change process.
