I'm getting a message while opening an attachment about my making sure my attachment is safe.

Recent enhancements to Microsoft’s e-mail security scans every attachment before letting the user open it. While the attachment is being scanned, the attachment looks like this (and only opens up a temporary PDF):
Once the scan is complete, the email is replaced with one containing the scanned original. If the email isn't opened the moment it is delivered, it will be seamless and not be noticed. If the message is opened right away and keep it open they can end up with two copies of the e-mail in their mailbox.
