Duration Information for MyMacomb Account to be Built

Issue/Question

How long do I have to wait before I will have access to my Macomb Community College account?

Resolution

Staff Account: Student Account:

All staff accounts are built overnight. 

Additionally, a new employee's manager or administrator should submit a New Employee Account (Network) Security Form if they have not already done so. This will add the new employee to the proper classification distribution lists for MCCStaff emails and network drive access.

Student accounts are built every 20 minutes.

  • Access to Office 365: Within 30 minutes after account build.
  • Access to MyMacomb: Maximum of 40 minutes after the license for Office 365 has been given. 
  • Access to Self-Service: Maximum of 40 minutes after the license for Office 365 has been given.
