Finesse Error - Failed to Connect to the Phone

Issue/Question

I received an error Failed to connect to the phone.

Environment

  • Finesse
  • Webex

Resolution

When you get this error you will need to log into Phone Services on Webex.

To get to Phone Services pick one of the options below:

Open settings from the option at the bottom of the screen Open settings from the menu under the initials
  • At the bottom of the screen, there should be an option that displays Open Settings.
  • Click Open Settings.

  • Click your Initials on the top left side.

  • Select Settings.

  • Select Phone Services.

 

  • In the Phone Services menu, log in with your Network/MyMacomb username and password.
  • Click Sign In.

 Note: Please only enter your username without the @macomb.edu at the end. 

  • Once you have signed in, You will get a message confirming that the Phone service is connected.
  • Click Save.

  • Log into Finesse again.
