How to Sync Your Device for MCC Applications, Policies, & Updates

Issue/Question

How do I force my device to sync to get MCC applications, polices, and updates? 

Environment

  • MCC Laptop

Resolution

  • In the search box at the bottom left of your machine, search for Settings. 
  • Select the best match Settings or select Open from app information.

  • On the left side menu, select Accounts.

  • Select Access work or school.

The next menu it could be displayed in two different ways. 

Connected to MCC AD domain (Mcc.Local) Connected by Email Address
  • Expand mcc.local by clicking the arrow to the right. 
  • Select Info.

  • Expand Connected by email address of the person by clicking the arrow to the right.
  • Select Info.

 

  • Scroll down till you see the Device sync status.
  • Select Sync.

  • You will then get a message that says, The sync is in progress. The process could take several minutes.

  • Once complete you will get a message, The sync was successful. 

 Note: Although the sync was successful it make take time for everything to pull down for the device. Please give up to 24 hours before everything downloads.
