How do I renew a Microsoft Team that is set to expire or that has been inactive for too long?

Resolution
Method 1: Renewing the Expiring/Inactive Team From the Teams Tab
- Select the Teams tab from the left ribbon.

- Locate the expiring/inactive Team and select the ellipses (three dots) next to the Team.
- From the drop-down options that appear, select the Manage Team setting.

- In the Manage Team setting, select the Settings tab located in the ribbon at the top of the Manage Team setting.

- Within the Settings tab, locate the Team expiration setting and expand it by clicking on the > next to the setting's name.
- In the expanded setting, select the Renew now button to renew the Team.

Method 2: Renewing the Expiring/Inactive Team From a Notification Within Microsoft Teams
- Select the Teams tab from the left ribbon.

- Locate the expiring/inactive Team and select it to open the Team.
- Next to the ellipses (three dots), select the triangle (Warning) icon

- Within the Settings tab, locate the Team expiration setting and expand it by clicking on the > next to the setting's name.
- In the expanded setting, select the Renew now button to renew the Team.

Method 3: Renewing the Expiring/Inactive Team Via Email Notification
Note: Team owners/members of the expiring/inactive group will receive an email an email from Microsoft 30 days, 15 days, and the day before informing the team that their Team needs to be renewed.
- In the email notification, select the Renew group button.

- When redirected to a Microsoft web page to renew the Team, select the Yes button.
