Windows 11 Relaunch Open Applications Upon Restart/Re-Logins

How do I have open applications relaunch after restart or re-login in Windows 11?

Environment

  • Windows 11

Resolution

  • Right-click the Windows Icon.
  • Click Settings. 

  • Select Accounts.

  • Select Sign-In options.

  • Make sure the toggle is turned on where it says Automatically save my restartable apps and restart them when I sign back in.

 Note: Standard Microsoft applications should restart, and there may be other 3rd party apps that are compatible
