How to Cancel a Print Job

Issue/Question

I want to cancel a print job that I sent to the printer.

Environment

• Windows

Resolution

• Right-click on the printer icon on the bottom right corner of your screen on the taskbar
• Click the See What's Printing option

• Right-click on the job that you want to cancel and click Cancel
  • If the person with the stuck job cannot be located, submit a ticket to the Service Desk and CIT can clear the job out.

 Note: You can only cancel jobs that you have sent to the printer. If someone else has a stuck job, you will need to contact them to log in and clear it.
