Change your Voicemail Password

How do I change my voicemail password? 

Environment

• Voicemail
• Cisco

Additional Details

Requirements for the password:

• Must be 6 digits
• Cannot be as the same last 3 passwords
• Digits are not all the same  (Example: 999999)
• Digits are not repeated (Example: 999111)
• Digits are not consecutive (Example: 123456 or 654321). 

Resolution​​​​​

• Log on to voice mail
• Press option 4
• Press option 3
• Press option 1
• Enter a new password and press # (pound). 
• Enter the new password again and press # (pound). 

 Note: If you do not have the current password you will need to have the password reset by calling the Service Desk at 586-445-7156.
