How to Join a Teams Meeting

I have a Teams meeting, how do I join?

Environment

  • Teams
  • Outlook

Additional Details

There are three different methods you can join a Teams meeting.

  • Outlook Calendar
  • Teams Calendar
  • Email sent for the meeting

Resolution

Method 1: Outlook Calendar

  • Open Outlook Calendar.
  • Open the meeting by double-clicking the meeting on your calendar.

  • Once the meeting is open, in the body of the meeting click Join Microsoft Teams Meeting.

Method 2: Teams Calendar

  • Open Teams (Teams App or the web version). 
  • Select Calendar from the left side.

  • Double-Click the meeting you want to join.
  • In the meeting, information select Join from the top right corner or select Join a Microsoft Teams Meeting in the description.

 

Method 3: Meeting Email

  • Open the meeting invite in your email.
  • In the body of the email, click Join Microsoft Teams Meeting.
