An HP Active Pen Stylus stopped working

Environment

• College provided HP tablet

Resolution

• Try to replace the batteries or charge the pen with the provided cable.

The pen power options:

• New Pens are rechargeable and come with a cable when picking up the tablet
• Older Pens: One triple-A (AAA) 1.5-volt battery in the pen barrel
• Bluetooth batteries: Two SR527SW Li-Ion coin-cell batteries in the pen cap
