How do I use the Hy-Flex classrooms?

If you would like to learn about the feature of the Epson Doc Cam please see attached pdf on the right side.
Resolution
- Start the computer by pressing the power button.
- Turn on the monitor for the computer
- The computer should log you in automatically.
- Turn on the doc cam by pressing the power button on the doc cam body.
There are two ways to find Easy Interactive Tools. See the below table for how to find the software.

- Find the EPSON Projector folder.
- Expand the folder by clicking the arrow next to it.
- Click on Easy Interactive Tools.

- In the search bar, Search for Easy Interactive Tools.
- Click on the Easy Interactive Tools at the top of the search menu.

- The menu for Easy Interactive Tools will appear, click Camera.
- You will receive a popup saying "The selected camera does not support audio recording", click OK.
- To use the webcam, select the Logitech webcam (based on the model it might have a slightly different name for the webcam) from the bottom left side.
- To use the Doc cam select Epson ELPDC21.
- You can use the doc cam as a whiteboard by putting a piece of paper down and writing on that. You can also use any 3-dimensional object as well.

Note: To use both the webcam and the doc cam you will need to launch a Zoom or Teams meeting.
Using Teams or Zoom for class:
- Open Teams or Zoom. You will need to log into each of the pieces of software.
- Join the class/meeting.
Teams
- In Teams, select the 3 dots (ellipsis).
- Select Device settings.
- Select the Logitech webcam for the camera.
- Audio devices and Speaker should be Extron Scaler.
- Select the share screen option.
- Select the screen you want to share to show the doc cam screen.
- Do full screen of the Easy Interactive Tools to show the full screen for the doc cam.
- Once you have completed the class/meeting logout of Teams.
- Turn off doc cam but double-clicking the power button.
- Shut down the computer.
Zoom
- Select the up arrow next to the Video option.
- Select the Logitech Webcam.
- Select the up arrow next to the Sound option.
- Select Extron Scaler (not shown here but will be an option for you in the classroom).
- Select the share screen option.
- Select the screen you want to share to show the doc cam screen.
- Do full screen of the Easy Interactive Tools to show the full picture for the doc cam.
- Once you have completed the class/meeting logout of Zoom.
- Turn off doc cam but double-clicking the power button.
- Shut down the computer.
