Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Won't Allow Save As (Blank Window)

I am unable to save as when working with pdf files in Acrobat Reader.

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

Resolution

If you have received a blank Save As window when trying to save a PDF file, you can follow the steps below to correct the problem.

  • Open Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
  • Select Edit from the top menu
  • Select Preferences at the bottom of the list (or just press CTRL-K).

  • Under the default Category, General, look to the right of the categories under Basic Tools.

  • Uncheck Show online storage when saving files

  • Then scroll down and select OK.

  • Close and reopen Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.  You should now be able to save your files successfully.
