Resolution

  • After the application is installed, go into your system tray at the bottom right and right-click the red circle red sky app. Then select Open.

  • When you click Open, you will be directed to a webpage to enter your location. There are three options, On-campus location, off-site location, and off-site location already entered this location into RedSky. Below will go over each option.

On-Campus Locations:

  • If on campus, you can enter a campus, building, and room (ex. CS100) in the Let's find you....text box. If you are prompted for a zone please select any zone under that location. There is no way to distinguish between zones.

  • Once you have selected a location you will get confirmation at the top of the webpage.

Off-Site Locations:

  • If off-site, select Add Location and Set as Current.

  • You will receive a popup asking for the address of your location. Fill out the required fields (Location name and Address).
  • Select Add and Set as Current Location.

Note: This address will also be saved for later so you can use it again under Manage Locations.

  • You will receive a confirmation that the location has been set on the original screen.

Set the Previously Entered Address to the Current Location and Edit a Saved Location:

  • Navigate to Manage Locations on the left side of the page.
  • Select the radio button to the left of the location.
    • To edit the location, select the edit icon next to the location on the right side.
    • To delete you can select the trash can next to the edit icon.

  • Confirmation that the location I just selected is now my current location. Select Close.
