Didn't get RedSky (MyE911) Email when Verifying Email Address

Issue/Question

When trying to verify for RedSky (MyE911) I never received the email with my verification code. 

Environment

  • RedSky (MyE911)

Resolution

  • In the bottom right corner of your screen, in the system tray, select the arrow pointing up. 

  • In the system tray, right-click the red circle RedSky app. Then select Settings. 

  • Select Settings.

 Note: Other options will not be available until RedSky is configured correctly. 

  • You will then see your Device registration. Verify your email address is correct and the hostname is correct.
  • If either of them is incorrect, correct them on this screen. 
  • Click Send.

 Note: If you still didn't receive the email make sure to check your spam folder. The email address should come from verification@e911cloud.com. If you still didn't get the code submit a ticket with the Service Desk at servicedesk@macomb.edu. Please include a screenshot of the host name and email address. 

  • Enter the verification code into the Device registration popup box and select Verify.
