Connect to Remote Desktop Services - HTML5 Version

How do I connect to Remote Desktop Services with the HTML5 version?

Environment

• Remote Desktop Services

Resolution

 Note: To access Remote Desktop Services you must be connected on-campus or connected to the VPN. To connect to the VPN use the following KB articles: Article - Connect to the Vendor GlobalProtect/VPN  Article - Accessing VPN with GlobalProtect

• Navigate to https://rdweb.macomb.edu/RDWeb/webclient/index.html
• Enter your Username and Password.
• Click Sign in.

 

• Once signed in, you can access the resources assigned to your account. Resources may be nested inside of folder.

 

 

• Click on the resource you would like to use. A popup will appear asking if you would like to access local resources. Select the necessary check boxes and/or select Allow.

 

• As the connection starts, Show Details will appear in the lower left corner, click Show Details.
• Click OK to the Computer and Network Access Notice.

 

 

 

 

• The application will now appear within the browser window. You can also open additional applications by selecting the Home icon in the upper left corner.
